If You Got It A Truck Brought It
The old saying is true, America does move by truck. Think about it. Planes, ships, buses and trains can’t go where a truck goes. But anyway, if you are thinking about becoming a freight broker agent, or opening your own freight brokerage, make sure you get the proper freight broker training. Call your prospective trainer, talk to him/her and DON’T be afraid to ask questions. Remember, freight broker training should come from someone who is highly qualified and has excellent references.Visit Our Web Site

Freight brokering is a up and coming home based business
Freight broker training seems to be an up and coming home based business.
Not only in the agent training field, but in the brokering business itself. With the economy slowly but surely crumbling, people are looking for something more stable with less fear and worry. Although freight brokering has always been a very competitive and fast paced business, it is even more so now. Yet it can still have its rewards. You can train at home and even work from home. You don't have to worry about getting up and traveling to work or having to find a baby sitter if yours is sick, etc. etc. And you don’t need a big fancy office thus, minimizing your overhead! But you must keep in mind that freight brokering is a business and should be treated as such. You should start and end your workdays at the same time, keeping your schedule and routine the same each week.

Freight Broker and the Home Base
Freight broker training is holding its own in the work at home business sector, especially for the freight broker agent. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why. Look at the economy. It's not getting any better. Fuel prices keep going up and down, bank and auto manufacturer bailouts, but little to nothing for the working class America. Especially the minimum wage working class, those who were hit the hardest when the sewing plants, yarn mills, furniture factories
and production plants in general moved out of the U.S. But one thing is for sure; America can't and won't move without trucks.Think about it. If the trucks were to stop, America would stop. Nothing would move. We would run out of groceries and gas in a very short time. Sure there might be plenty in storage tanks and warehouses, but if trucks didn't deliver it to the grocery stores and the gas pumps, what good would it be? As more and more people are coming to the realization that working from home is a win win situation, it seems that freight broker training is becoming ideal.
Rather one decides to open a brokerage or go the agent route, they will need the proper training. But don't be fooled by the get rich quick schemes, the two-day seminar training or the promise of big bucks starting out. It doesn't work that way.You will have to think fast, outdo the competition, endure some long days, and sometimes you might even want to pull your hair out. You will need to be able to follow a routine, answer questions, deal with emergencies at 2 am, and still give quality customer service. If you have the time to learn, the funds to carry you for at least six months,
are dedicated, a go-getter and have self- discipline, you might want to consider being an agent or opening a brokerage. But do your homework whichever way you are thinking of going. Call your prospective trainers and ask them what their training consists of, if they have job placement assistance, and if they have ongoing consultation. If they hum haw around or say no, keep searching. Freight broker training should come from someone who knows the ropes firsthand.Visit our website

Freight broker training is not a difficult profession
But being a freight broker agent can be, especially for new agents. I know this to be a fact because I have been there done that. Trying to remember everything that goes on a load confirmation sheet, what signatures are needed, who to call, when to call, who to talk with, what to say and how to say it can all get jumbled up in the beginning.
Even with the proper freight broker training it can be a little confusing or even overwhelming for the new agent. But there is a solution: practice and repetition. If you can’t remember what goes on a confirmation sheet, take the time to print out a blank one and practice filling it in. If you are having trouble calculating rates, print out an instruction sheet and post it where you can see it or better yet, practice each rate until you understand it completely. You can practice cold calling with a friend.
But remember to keep in mind that freight broker training is a hands-on and if you don’t check and recheck all of your paperwork, it can prove to be costly for the new agent. That’s why your freight broker training instructor should not only be there to answer your questions, but should give you handouts, use scenarios, questionnaires, and also give you a daily routine guideline sheet. Your freight broker training instructor should strive to give you the quality training you will need to succeed. Visit our Website or Call us 336-802-1036
